Purpose
[Organization Name] (“the Organization”) is committed to conducting its activities in accordance with the highest standards of integrity, Christian values, and ethical behavior. As stewards of our mission to support and inspire barbers through faith-centered camps, we encourage transparency, accountability, and the reporting of any illegal, unethical, or improper behavior.
The purpose of this Whistleblower Policy is to:
Encourage employees, volunteers, participants, and others to report suspected wrongdoing without fear of retaliation;
Clarify how concerns can be reported confidentially;
Assure that reports will be properly reviewed and addressed.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, volunteers, board members, contractors, and camp participants.
Definitions
Wrongful Conduct includes, but is not limited to:
Financial misconduct, fraud, or theft;
Violation of any law, regulation, or organizational policy;
Abuse or mistreatment of individuals;
Unsafe practices endangering health or safety;
Discrimination, harassment, or any behavior not in keeping with Christian ethics.
Good Faith Report means a report made with honest intentions, even if it turns out to be mistaken.
Reporting Procedure
Anyone who believes they have witnessed or are aware of wrongful conduct should report their concerns promptly.
Reports can be made verbally or in writing to the Executive Director or the Chairperson of the Board of Directors.
If the concern involves leadership, reports may be made directly to the Board Chair or designated Compliance Officer.
Anonymous reports are permitted, though providing contact information may aid in investigation.
Please use the Whistleblower Report Form to report any fraud, waste or abuse behavior.

Handling of Reports
All reports will be:
Treated seriously and confidentially to the greatest extent possible;
Investigated promptly, thoroughly, and impartially;
Addressed with appropriate corrective action if warranted.
The reporting individual will be informed, when appropriate, of the outcome of the investigation.
Protection from Retaliation
The Organization strictly prohibits retaliation against anyone who makes a Good Faith Report or assists in an investigation.
Retaliation includes termination, demotion, harassment, or any form of adverse action.
Any person found to have engaged in retaliation will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
If someone believes they have been subjected to retaliation, they should report it immediately using the same procedures outlined above.
Faith-Based Commitment
As a faith-based organization, we believe in accountability, grace, and truth. We encourage forgiveness and restoration where possible, but we also affirm that protecting the integrity of our mission and community sometimes requires decisive action.
We encourage everyone to remember Ephesians 4:25:
"Therefore, each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body."
